Sono  impiegate a secco su macchina smerigliatrice portatile, per levigare le coste di marmo e di granito.
Possono avere due tipi di attacco: "Attacco 7M" e ""Attacco Normale", in funzione della macchina smerigliatrice su cui vengono montate.
